Last night at Duke's

It was our best night yet at Duke's but to no avail. While we were setting up, word came down that this night would be the last open mic at Duke's. Sorry to see it end. Given a little more time, we think we could have developed something special there. But, not to be. Tim and I will start shopping around for another location for the open mic somewhere in the area. Stay tuned and stay connected with us.

What a night!

Well, I gotta say that last night had to be one of the best open mic nights that we've ever had. What a great group of performers and an outstanding audience. You know, we always get a few special performances every week but we don't always get such an attentive and appreciative audience. Its truly special when the two come together. It was so nice to see everyone show up early and stay late. I think we had a full list by 8:15 which is typically unheard of. So for those of you new to our open mic's remember the earlier you get here the better chance you have of getting a spot.

I also want thank Rick Ricker for setting in on bass for part of the night and Shannon Reagan for filling in some beautiful harmonies on Best I Can. It took the song to a new level!
